I think my USB drive is borked...

First off, the background...
I used my USB drive to transfer a Playstation 3 update from the PC to my PS3 and although I hadn't had an issue with removing the drive on a previous occasion, it seems that after the update had been transferred, I should have powered off the PS3. I checked the USB drive to see if the file was still there or had been moved and there was no directory table on the drive yet the properties showed that the space was still occupied.
Fearing the worst (and before looking for and using an app such as this), I reformatted the USB drive. Or so I had thought.
When I next went to open the drive and transfer files to it, I'm told that the drive is not formatted. When I try to format, then I'm told by XP that there is no disk in the removable drive - go figure!

I used this app in the hope that it would be able sort out my issue and perhaps use it as a formatting utility.
In a way it did help. I got the message "No USB drive present", which sort of confirms that the USB drive has had it's day.

I'd like to have given a more detailed review on the app itself but at this stage with a dead USB and no hope whatsoever of recovering data, I don't need to use the app.

As a post-script, I used an old external USB HDD I had to transfer the PS3 update to my son's PS3 and had no issue with it's directory disappearing.

Was not able to recover my data.

Easy to use - no output.

Application was easy to use. However, no data was recovered.

Software sucks.

Might be good for other stuff, but didn't work for me. Tried grabbing data off a corrupted 16gb corsair voyager flash drive and your software didn't even see it. Might try your software again if it actually works.
